Shanghai Fenglin Clinical Laboratory has successfully passed the audit of the certification body and has been awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification on July 19th,2012, which proves Fenglin Lab's operation and maintenance of Integrated Service Platform for Clinical Research, the related facilities and infrastructure are conform to the management system standards of ISO/IEC 27001:2005.
About ISO/IEC 27001
ISO/IEC 27001, part of the growing ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards, is an information security management system (ISMS) standard published in October 2005 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). ISO/IEC 27001 formally specifies a management system that is intended to bring information security under explicit management control. Organizations that claim to have adopted ISO/IEC 27001 can therefore be formally audited and certified compliant with the standard.
